There is a $15 cancellation fee per unit. (Cancellation notice must be received 14 days prior to arrival.) Reservations that are cancelled with less than 14 days notice will lose the entire deposit amount.
There are no refunds for early departure or weather conditions. We will not accept shortened lengths of stay at check-in.
Thirty (30) days notice is required for Great Hall, Fire Place Lounge and group reservations. |
Vehicle Passes |
ALL vehicles must have a vehicle pass on rear view mirror when in park. (Non-guest visitation is limited on the weekends during June-September and permission for extra vehicles must be cleared with office prior to stay). Parking space is at a premium and we may find it necessary to limit extra vehicles on the weekends during June-September, especially on the major holidays. |
Quiet Time |
Quiet time is from 10:00 pm until 7:30 am! NO LOUD NOISES.
Turn off radios and music, volume down on TV's. Whisper time, in rooms & outdoors. Any guest who exhibits unacceptable behavior is subject to the immediate eviction of themselves and their entire party without warning or refund. Please be courteous to your neighbors.

Check-in time for all: After 1:00 p.m. Check-Out for Lodgings: 11:00 a.m. We encourage everyone to stay the day and play instead of rushing back home.
If you are in our lodgings, please check-out of your room. Then you are welcome to hang around and enjoy our resort.
If you are in an RV or tent site, please inquire as to whether anyone is checking into that site after you vacate it. If your site is to be occupied, you may park your vehicles elsewhere on the resort while you have fun.

| Lodging Policies |
Please return your lodgings to the clean condition in which you found it at time of check-in. All garbage must be deposited in the receptacles provided. Clean the kitchen; run all dirty dishes through the dishwasher, and put them away when finished.
Do not use our towels for any purpose other than normal bath-related use. Paper towels have been provided for your convenience. If your towels are found to be unusually stained or dirty beyond normal shower usage, your card will automatically be charged a $50 replacement penalty.
Pets: There is a $25.00 non-refundable pet fee in our lodgings. Please bring a towel for your pets, don't use guest towels.
Damages/Cleaning: In the event your accommodations are not returned to the same conditions found at check-in, or if the lodgings are found to be damaged, your card will be charged at $50 per hour. |
Pets |
Pets MUST ALWAYS be on a leash at ALL times, NO EXCEPTIONS (10' max. leash). A person MUST be on the holding end of the leash. If we see your pet off a leash, you will be asked to leave the resort immediately without refund.
Only well-behaved pets will be permitted to stay at the Resort.
DO NOT leave your pets unattended in rooms, rv sites, or tent sites. Excessive barking is cause for eviction of the entire party without refund.
Owner must clean up after pets. Owner is responsible for any and all damage to Resort property. Pets are not allowed at the Swimming Beach.

| Campfires |
Campfires must be in established fireboxes. DO NOT move the fireboxes. Wood only. NO garbage or non-burnable objects. You may bring your own wood, or purchase bundles of wood from the store. Please don't throw your garbage or trash into the fire boxes. |
Fireworks |
NO fireworks are allowed on Resort property, not even sparklers. |
Firearms/Weapons |
Firearms/weapons (guns of any type, bows) MAY NOT be discharged on Resort property |
No Wake Zone |
Boats must not create a wake when in Marina area, Go Slow! "No Wake" zones on the Lake include the entire Winston Creek cove out to the markers. Watercrafts within that area are restricted to the lesser |
Launch Ramp |
Do not leave vehicle unattended on boat launch ramp. Boat masts, antennas, towers, outriggers, and other such items must be raised and lowered on the launch ramp or while the boat is in the water. All folding or removable items must be in the lowered position before transporting any craft. |
| Swimming Area |
NO swimming in the slips or boat traffic areas! Watercrafts are not allowed within the boundaries of the swimming area. Swimmers will stay within the bounds of the swimming area. Lifeguards are not provided. Absolutely no diving off the island is allowed. |
Fuel Dock |
No Smoking within 50 feet. Attendant will not fuel your boat. No fuel may be pumped from the marina tank unless authorized marina staff is present. Portable fuel containers: Must be a type approved for marine use; may not be left on the docks; must be stored in your vehicles or boat trailer. Inboard fuel tanks must be vented in compliance with current regulations and must not discharge fuel into the water. Boat operators are responsible for fuel spills and will be assessed all costs for clean-up. |
All Docks & Slips |
Docks are CLOSED AFTER DARK, and NO SLEEPING ON BOATS IN THE MARINA! Running is NOT permitted on the docks. Children 12 and under, and non-swimmers, must wear a life jacket when on the docks. The water is up to 80' deep between the shoreline and the island. PROTECT YOUR CHILDREN!
Children 14 and under must be supervised by an adult. Bikes, skateboards, and such are not allowed on the wheelchair ramps, docks, or the island. We are not responsible for personal belongings left on the dock.

Boat Trailer Parking |
Boat trailers with or without boats on them MUST park in designated Boat Trailer Parking areas, NOT in RV sites, tent sites or any other parking areas. Trailers must be unhooked from vehicles. DO NOT park on roadways. |
Campground Courtesy |
Please consider a person's site as 'their space.' Don't walk thru another person's campsite. Please help your children to understand there are no fenced yards in campgrounds and that they must not approach pets or play in another person's site. |

The Lake contains stumps and snags just below or at the surface. They may be fixed or drift to any part of the lake and are not easily visible. Boating, swimming, water-skiing, diving, and other water activity is hazardous near such objects. Use extreme caution. Lake Mayfield Marina & Resort and its permitters are not responsible for accidents or damages. |
Loud - Abusive Language or Profanity |
This type of language will not be tolerated at any time and is cause for eviction with no refund. |

| Reservations |
A 50% deposit is required at time of booking for all reservation over $200. All other reservations require a 100% deposit at time of booking. All reservations in July and August require a two-night minimum stay on the weekends, and a three-night minimum stay during the holidays of Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day. |

LAKE MAYFIELD RESORT & MARINA RULES AND REGULATIONS
We are a family-oriented resort, and we pride ourselves on offering our members and guests a clean, safe, and fun environment for the whole family. Please review the following rules and regulations. 
- SIGNS: Signs are posted for your protection. Please read and follow all instructions. NO SPEEDING: Speed is restricted to 5 mphthroughout the facility. Drive with care and yield to foot traffic. Watch for children!
- LODGINGS: Leave the lodgings neat and tidy as you found it. Do not use the resort’s towels for any purpose other than normal shower use. Your card will be charged a $50 towel replacement penalty for ruined towels or missing towels, or if room is found to have been smoked in.
- TENTS ON RV SITES: We do not encourage tents to be set up on RV sites. However, upon request, we may make exceptions, and such exceptions will be at $10.00/day for a “RV+tent" (pup tent size, set up on the gravel.) DO NOT set up tents in the playground.
- BOAT MOORAGE: If you have reserved a boat slip, you will be issued an ID tag for only that slip. Make sure you are in the correct slip, and DO NOT park in any other slip than the one assigned to you. Please return the ID tag to the office prior to departure.
- WEAPONS: Weapons and fireworks may NOT be discharged in the resort.
- CAMPFIRES: Must be in established fireboxes. Do not move the fireboxes.
MARINA RULES:
- NO SLEEPING ON BOATS IN THE MARINA. NO ONE IS ALLOWED ON THE DOCKS AFTER DARK!
- NO WAKE ZONES: "No Wake" zones on the Lake include the entire Winston Creek cove out to the markers. Watercrafts within that area are restricted to 8 mph.
- FUEL: Portable fuel containers must be a type approved for marine-use, may not be left on the docks, and must be stored in your vehicles or boat trailer. Inboard fuel tanks must be vented in compliance with current regulations and must not discharge fuel into the water. Boat operators are responsible for fuel spills and will be assessed all costs for clean-up. No fuel may be pumped from the marina tank unless authorized marina staff is present.
- HIGH ITEMS: Boat masts, antennas, towers, outriggers, and other such items must be raised and lowered on the launch ramp or while the boat is in the water. All folding and or removable items must be in the lowered position before transporting any craft.
- SWIMMING AREA: Watercrafts are not allowed within the boundaries of the swimming area. Swimmers will stay within the bounds of the swimming area. Lifeguards are not provided. Absolutely no diving off the island is allowed. NO SWIMMING IN THE SLIPS OR BOAT TRAFFIC AREAS! NO DOGS IN THE SWIM AREA.

We were given a copy of these Rules and Regulations. We fully understand them and agree to abide by them. We are responsible for our behavior and understand that warnings will not be given prior to eviction. I have the authority to sign for my party and acknowledge in so signing that I personally accept financial responsibility for the actions of each. I authorize Lake Mayfield Resort & Marina to charge clean-up or repair costs to my credit card. I understand that the Marina is not responsible for lost, missing, or stolen items, and it is my responsibility to secure and protect our property. We further agree that we are here recreating at our own risk, and Lake Mayfield Marina & its permitters are not responsible for accidents or damages.
I agree that I, the undersigned, am responsible for ALL members in my party, and that all children in my group (if any) under the age of 12 will be continually supervised by a responsible adult of my group.
